Not sure about the hair growth thing, but as far as when to start the groomers - anytime after she's had all her vaccines. Sometimes they're done by 4 months, sometimes they haven't had the rabies vacc. yet, it depends on what age the vaccs. were started. If she still has another appt. for vaccines, wait till about a week or two after the last one
