My Laci is all yorkie, maybe not totally proper, she has a cottony coat , which appears to be the coat of your dog, her ears are floppy but I really didnt shave them like I should have done all the time. Her ear hair is very very heavy and thick.
I love her just the way she is, and his current weight is with in standard. Its up to 7 pounds.
He may not grow much more. Maybe a shave and a hair cut would do him some good. With a cottony coat I prefer a shaved body and fuller legs and face. Its known on this board as the " joey" , its an adorable hair cut and for dogs with thicker/fuller coats is simply adorable.
