I also live on a lake and Lexi will jump off the dock with you. Riley just came to live with me in December and I have not had him down to the lake yet but the way he took to the pool I think he is going to love it also. I have life jackets for them for the lake. My yorkie boy I had for 13 years loved the jet ski He would be so mad if he didn't get to with us he would pout.
If you buy a pool get the hard sided ones my daughter bought a blow up one didn't last a day She should have known better lol
