Good advice! (Building it for HIM) We have had puppies who loved to chew on the walls. And we have one who will jump over a 36" baby gate, and climb out of a 48" xpen! She is part monkey, I'm sure! We also have had some that wouldn't get out of a 12" high pen, no matter how much they wanted to. They are all different. Good luck with your building project. Sounds like you really want to do what is best for him. And be patient with the house training....it could take a while.
