Yes this is correct. My Mother also has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. Her 1st clue that something was wrong was extreme pressure & pain in her head. My Mother has always suffered from headaches but they were never debilitating until the Hydrocephalus. From what the OP described , it sounds like her baby does have some discomfort/pain.
