 Old Pee in carpet making training impossible?
I have having such a hard time getting my 7 month old yorkie trained. Bad part is, i live in an apartment and can't have him ruining the carpet.
I have been trying to tain him to use potty pads, when in his x pen he does fine. When i let him out he pees all over, even on my couches. You can even smell the smell of it and i am getting very frustrated. He is my first dog and he is so cute and fun to have around but the peeing has to stop! One other problem is that the carpet is old and a dark brown color so half the time when he pees you don't see it unless you happen to step in it. So it's even harder to clean up if you don't know it's there.
Is this prior peeing that i can't seem to clean gonna make ptty training impossible? Any suggestions for a really good way to get rid of odors/marks like this? I tried searching but what i found was not quite what i am asking. so bare with me. Thanks |
