IMHO:
The moral & solution to the story are:
-do your homework.
-know the red flags.
-don't ignore the red flags.
-try to learn from others mistakes unless you have proof things are different now.
-do not believe for one minute that a micro, mini, teacup, pencil tip or any other "extra petite" named type of yorkies even exists.
-learn the breed standards.
-learn what is expected out of a reputable breeder & a reputable puppy purchasing transaction.
-use common available knowledge as well as common sense to add to this list.
