I have never purchased an animal from a Pet Store or commercial Breeder.
A long while back, a friend of mine had a Yorkie, and he had found what
may be called a "casual" or "hobby" Breeder. Still, all the papers and
Ancestry were in place, and I have since ran a DNA test on mine, which
confirms that.

I guess I'm sorta bragging a little, but, the Breeder I use has never had
a medical problem with any of the Pups from that Sire and Dame. I once
ask him if it could give someone his name, and he replied with a profound
NO ! Ha ha ha !

He only lets his "pair" breed about once a year, and requires one to put
their name on a list UP FRONT, where the pups will have a Forever home
before they are even born. I had to wait almost FOUR MONTHS, for my
Female Becca.

Beer Belly...
On your choice of termonology... would you consider...
That a "Paper Trail" outlines "Ancestry", and
a DNA Test would prove "Bloodline".

These two of course should complement each other, with a Pure Bred.
