We have tried and tried the fasting and chicken and white rice and used the perscrition canned dog food from the vet and it seems to help for a few days but then he starts throwing up again
It's been worse in the last month or so. Before that it wasn't quite as bad and we just figured he had a sensitive stomach...which he does but I don't think it's the whole problem. We cut out anything extra like treats or snacks and even any kind of chew treats. Been giving raw carrots on occasion for a treat. This last bout with it...he hasn't had any diareaha at all. We have had pet insurance on Bentley since we got him as a puppy but just canceled it a few months ago
Anyway, I'm gonna write down the medicine you posted about and ask our vet about it. He otherwise LOOKS as healthy as he can be but you can just tell that something isn't right. Last week the vet gave him a shot of antibiotics and fluids and that night he felt better and played like I had not seen him do in a long long time.
