Chicken is usually a well tolerated protien for a dog prone to loose stools, so if it's anything in the food, I'd say it's the grains - there's quite a few different ones in it - oatmeal, barley, brown rice - all perfectly fine whole grains for a dog, but some dogs just don't do well with grains at all. if you want to do a little "test" and see if it is the grains (since he was on raw at the breeders, that would be my first guess) - try feeding him nothing at all except some boiled plain chicken breast for a few days (you can't continue only this for long since it's not balanced), just to see how he does on straight meat. Plus, that's really bland and good to get rid of loose stools before you try another dog food. If he does better on just the chicken, look for a "grain-free" dry dog food (such as Orijen for example) and try that for at least a week or two (he may need to adjust to it again). I'd start there and see what happens.
