Ugh! It has happened to all of us. Try to shake it off and realize that good healthy feet come from nails that aren't too long and it is something that has to be done. I am such a wus about it, though, I had to start using Gentle Paws and do Tibbe's nails about every 3 days so that each session is very short. At first I was scared to even try that method but eventually you get the hang of it and it is not so scary. The dog gets used to the sound very quickly. You still have to be careful as you can still get into the quick if you are trying to get them too short for that session. Just do a bit at a time and you can't go wrong.
