Just to keep everyone informed, had my four week old yorkie puppy at the vet tonight, who gave her an x ray, said there was no hip displacement, and she has lots of power in her hind legs so no paralasis, he reckons her legs have been crushed while in moms womb, as her mom was quite small and had a litter of five, from which she is the runt, he reckons with a couple of weeks of intensive physio 3 times a day, she should come good, although she may be slightly bandy legged, he said as she has so much power in her back legs there is no reason why she shouldn't walk, its just a case of building the muscle in the back legs to let her support herself. I have to take her back in 2 weeks time to be re-evaluated. This is my first time as a breeder, and it will be my last, it has been heart breaking watching the little one struggle, but the vet has given me hope now, so with a bit of luck she will soon be walking. Somehow I miss your post. I think I must of been typing my post while you were post yours. I am glad you took the pup to the vet. I hope everything turns out for her.
