I have a boy yorkie who just turned 6 and when I began dating my boyfriend 3 years ago my b/f started teasing him whenever we gave him a treat--acting like he was going to steal it although not really, but our dog LOVES the game. When we give him a treat if we don't try and pretend to take it, he will bring it to us and drop it at our feet and then growl and wag his tail cause he wants us to tease him. I just think it is silly and we just got a female puppy a few months ago and now she LOVES the game. She wants us to chase her around the house when she has her treat. I think it is so odd and of course our male dog loves playing the game more with my boyfriend than with me, but he just loves it. Has anyone else experienced this?
