Thank you Sbyork. What in the world is that flower? It is beautiful. I have never seen anything like that before. I have been working really hard on learning the manual settings on my camera. It's an old Canon Digital Rebel Xt. I want to upgrade, but I keep telling myself, not until I learn to get good shots on manual settings. LOL. (I ordered and have been reading the books that lisaly recommends). Anyway, I can't remember if these pictures were on manual or not, I think they were. They say you should write everything down, but who has time to do that like in your case when a bobcat is crossing the road or a bee is in the air? LOL. I too love to carry a little point and shoot. In some cases they are just so much handier.
