Right now I am in the position of looking for a Yorkie, one of the first things I did was to contact the breed rescues. My experience has been that there aren't as many dogs available as one might think and that is a VERY good thing! Matter of fact it is a wonderful thing.
We aren't any good to anyone if we over extend. So don't feel guilty for wisely knowing, and respecting, your limits.
