For an average sized Yorkie, 1/8 mixed with wet would be an adequate meal. If he is closer to 10-12 pounds, then you might want to increase it a bit. It shouldn't hurt him any. He'll just eat less kibble during the night.
The only thing you need to do is make sure he isn't gaining.
