Maybe have your vet shorten them and then use the grinder. I had to do that with Tink.(hates the snips)

It's a pain to cut Jackson's nails. Like you said with Maddie, he fusses so much, it's not even worth it. It takes me 5 minutes to one nail cut, lol. We are working on it. It's not that he spazzes out completely with me, he just constantly pulls his paw away and I'm afraid I'm gonna cut too short. So I've also been looking for a 'tool' that I can use that maybe will make it easier for me than nail clippers.

Should I get some KwikStop too?
Haha! I bought that one too. I thought it would be lighter but it's not, it's about the same. One problem I'm having is that the grinding thing keeps coming off as I'm using it. It does have 2 speeds, but it's just as, if not more, noisy as the Pedipaws.

I quit using Kwikstop bc it burns. I use regular flour, and that does a good job without causing more pain.

and who knows maybe my other dremel attachments might fit it.
I have a Dremel knockoff that is really small, but the revolutions are so high I'm worried about the nails getting too hot, too quick. With 4 pups to do, I prefer the plug in models so I don't run out of juice. I bought it for $5 at WalMart around Christmas time a few years ago, in the tools section... one of those special gifts they sell prewrapped and all. Turned out to be a nice little tool for the money.
