I have gone through two Dremel Mini Mites, both were rechargeable cordless dremels and I loved them. The first one I had probably just needed a new battery, which you can get, but I bought the whole thing. Right now I am using a regular dremel and it's fine, but I prefer the cordless. I think they work great. You can get the sanding bands in different grits too.
