If her WBC is up it will throw off the liver enzymes as well so testing her liver before the infection is gone will really be a wast of time. I'd be willing to bet that it's not a shunt but off from her other problems and that's what I'll be praying for. Just cannot imagine what the heck happened between the few hrs that she left you & went to her new home. So they did not do an x-ray ?
