Our BRT girl Zoey, has had a positive test come back for heartworm. Tomorrow I take her back in for a more specific test for the microfilia.

I am beyond myself with worry. We have two other dogs here that have yet to be tested, they go in next week.

I am very sad to say that "we" have not been in full compliance with the preventative medication, a fact that I just learnt from my husband last night, when discussing the results of our last vet visit last Friday.

My husband has apologized most profusely to me; but I am livid, livid, livid. He can't recall exactly what months he missed!

I am just trying to focus on the next step. Please say a prayer for our Zoey girl.
