I would also like to point out that as with the Yorkshire Terrier Breed, the Chihuahua breed has lots of the same health issues and with Any breed there are way too many unscrupulous breeders out there so just be very careful choosing a breeder. There are Many good breeders here on YT and many members have purchased from them and they have very happy HEALTHY pups. If you go to the breeders section & the pups for sale section & do some research you will see who they are. I do know that good breeders often will not sell to people with very small children & rightfully so but your kids are teenagers so that shouldn't be a problem. It's really a safety issue for these tiny fragile dogs. I hope this helps.
