What was really interesting about the show was how it showed the impregnation process- that a dog's sperm can live in the female for up to a week (until she releases her eggs) and therefore can get pregnant from several dogs in one litter! This is important if you have more than one stud. Sometimes the puppies are so different in size...interesting stuff. |
