I read that stress can also cause diarrhea. We sometimes get little lizards on our deck, and Ian loses his mind when he sees one. He is totally obsessed with trying to catch one, but thank goodness he never has. We are dealing with diarrhea also. This is day two; my hubby made an appointment for him to be checked out today.
