 Cough
You have certainly been persistenly conscientious with your dog's treatment. If you have any doubts it never hurts to get a second opinion from another well respected vet in your area. I don't know if you are aware of the recent publicity in the U.S. about the "dog flu" but it has been in many of the major newspapers, on TV and written about here on YT. From what I have heard and read it has similar symptoms to kennel cough and lasts a month or longer. There is no specific cure and medicine is prescribed to treat the symptoms only. It is supposed to be very contagious and it is recommended that you seek medical attention at the first signs of the cough, just as you did. It might be worth mentioning this to your vet and getting his/her opinion on the subject.
