Not sure what you mean by the kids will be responsible for the Day to Day but you need to be aware that yorkies can be very sensitive to lots of things ie allergies, bug bites, hypoglycemia. Often kids forget to feed at the appropriate times & this is not a good thing for a little dog as they can become hypoglycemic. Also stools need to be checked Daily to be sure the pup isn't having diarrhea as they can also dehydrate quickly just like a human infant. Just be sure to read up & do all your homework before you get your pup to ensure the health & safety of your new family member. Oh and Welcome to YT.
