It is probably the best decision for you and her. The fact that her health was not the best when you obtained her, being one thing. But, being inexperienced with whelping, caring for a dam, raising pups is another good reason to take this route.

Good Luck, Prayers are with you and let us know when Foxy is out of surgery. We all have a connection to her now and will be praying for her.
