My Chloe Anne is 7months.She has chewed our laptop wire as well.When I caught her doing it,I simply picked her up and put her in her cage and firmly said "No'mam that is a bad girl".She instantly knew she was in trouble,she put her head down very low and looked up at me.I made her sit in her cage for 10 minutes.When she was let out,she came up on the couch with me and started licking me and laid by me.But also,all dogs are different.You just have to find out what works for your dog.I was very hesistant on getting a Yorkie,because the potty issues,the barking,and the chewing.Plus I was in Nursing School.On top of all that Im only 20 years old.Yorkies are recommended for older people,I guess.When I finished Nursing School,I decided to just get one.She loves to play,but is not a barker.She is fully potty trained,she goes to our sliding glass door and cries when she has to go potty.I wouldn't trade her for the world.Sorry so long,I wish you all the luck with the chewing issue. |
