I have an Oster A5 with a #10, #40 & #7F, which I was using to trim Zhoie. I found it's big/bulky to use on such a small dog. I never use this one anymore.

Couple months ago I picked up an Oster 5 in one and I love it. It's a dial head with five blades, can be use plugged in or cordless. It works great for her and the #9 even shaves her back to the length I like. However, it may get hot if his coat is dense. Oster A5 would probably be the way to go.
