Pixie usually gets a small sampling of whatever we happen to be eating.
She loves dry cereal (usually Cherios or Rice Chex), bits of whatever meat happens to be on our plate, small bits of cheese, carrots, apples, the list goes on.... The key is moderation. You don't want her getting SO many treats that she stops eating her regular food (or starts to get chunky!)

I would probably try to make a mental note of any foods that can be toxic to our pups. Here's a good list of what NOT to feed: Foods to Avoid

They have potato listed on there though... I thought only the green parts of the tater were toxic.... or was I wrong? Edited: Oops, wait, I think I read it wrong, it says potato, ruhbarb and tomato leaves and stems
Dairy is listed on there too, but I'm always giving Pixie a lick or two of my yogurt or cottage cheese (and I know a lot of other people do too!) Maybe they just mean it's bad if given in large quantities....
