I am confused about Ash in dog foods. I know it is not the ash from your fireplace, but I am just confused about it. I recently purchased a bag of Nature's Variety Instinct LID, and in the guaranteed analysis it states ash as 10% max.
Is this high? Is it bad? Looking back on other brands I have used it does not have it listed. This is new to me. After reading a little online, I have read that it is not required to be listed.
Just looking for some more info.
