Default Worried new mommy...

My husband and I got Indy yesterday. He's a one year old yorkie. He pooped in the house last night (he always pees outside, but not poop). I realized when I picked up his poop that he has worms. I know that's pretty easy to treat, and I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow, but this afternoon he threw up. He hasn't eaten much since yesterday afternoon when we got him, and now he has thrown it up! Two questions: 1. Do worms cause vomitting? And 2. Should I feed him again or wait a few hours for his tummy to calm down? Thanks in advance, I'm new to this and I'm pretty worried!
