Awww. That's so sweet.
It's never too early to start a little training ~ sit, stay, down, come. Buy a few dog books and try some things out.
One thing I really enjoyed - was agility training. Boy, that will bond you with your dog like crazy and will definitely fulfill his potential as a D O G!
Puppy Classes I highly recommend too. Pretty laid back and a lot of socialization.
