Hi, I'm new here and do not own a Yorkie or Biewer, yet, but I'm hoping to fix that soon. You've been given great advice I just wanted to add youtube.com.

One of the best training videos on Youtube I found was Kikopup's channel. What I found good about Kikopup's philosophy was her focus on positive distraction and substitution techniques, along with shaping for success and excellent use of successive approximation. She doesn't use Yorkie's but the techniques she teaches will work with any dog. Oh and no affiliation, your mileage may vary and all the usual disclaimers, etc...
