That's quite the ordeal... lol I've gotten lucky with my pups, never seen a vet for anything other than rabies and other vaccines/boosters...actually I had a dog get hit by a car and had to be put down
other than that nothing medically. I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was 9... parents wouldn't do anything except buy the food, lol good thing too because I'm not sure if they would have been willing to pay for broken limbs or special meds :/
Hopefully it's been smooth sailing for you since then... they say all bad things happen at once and it only gets better after that!
