They actually don't contain Xylitol, they contain dextrose which I believe is used to make Xylitol, but isn't the same thing. (I only know because I looked it up after the whole xylitol scare because I've use the cet chews for years
)
That being said, I stopped using them becuase they just don't seem to work and the ingredients aren't great anyway.
I use Merrick's bully sticks and natural sweet potato chews. I'm looking into Himalayan chews too since they seem to be popular
However, these products are nice and may help the teeth somewhat, but the only "chew" I've used that does seem to actually clean the teeth is raw turkey necks (I use the Nature's Variety ones usually and outside only while under supervision
). The other ones are more just for recreational chewing to keep them busy
and won't replace brushing
