Calleigh had surgery on her left knee a couple of years ago. She had a grade three. My vet checked her and said she didn't need surgery. One of his colleagues saw her and said she would need surgery. I decided to get a third opinion. We saw an Orthopedic Surgeon. He suggested surgery. She will also need to have her right leg done soon too. The Orthopedic Surgeon told me to put her on Cosequin. My good friend is a vet, so I'm fortunate to be able to get it from her. I believe the pet stores sell it. I'm not sure of the quality. Why don't you check with your vet.
