It didn't really take a whole lot for him.
I would put him in it for a few minutes at a time and walk him into another room... telling him... Gooood Booooy.....and then give him a treat...
Or walk him into another room.... put it down.... kinda play with him in it....
He has never made a peep in it..... When I am carrying it with the flap down.... I will sometimes keep my fingers between the flap and the mesh.... just to kind of let him know that I am there....and if nobody is around, tell him, in a whisper, just loud enough for him to hear..... Gooood Booooy.
My Vet is several loooong blocks from my place, so I would take him back and forth in it. When I am carrying it around, like that I usually keep it unzipped enough for him to stick his head out.... although he rarely does. He usually stays down looking out the mesh.
