That's what I was going to suggest for the future - have them flag your house as the delivery has to signed for. It could be someone stealing from your mailbox, or it could be a mailman or UPS mistake. Either way, if someone had to sign for it (although it's a pain) you're 100% sure that way about whether or not it was actually delivered. Plus, that could maybe help you rule out what's happening.
