Kaji does not need a buddy, you are his buddy. You just never know how he'll take to another pup, so you do it for yourself, if you feel ready to take on another pup, bills, food, flea & tick, toys, etc... you know.... all the wonderful stuff that goes with a pet!
I have 2 boys, I got them at the same time. Every time I think I might want another one... I remember I only have 2 hands and already have 2 heads to pet and 2 bellies to rub.... so for me, right now adding to the pack is not an option. Even though I can't even look at a puppy without wanting to take it home! LOL My boys are bonded to each other very much so. I often wonder if they would gang up on another pup if I brought one home. I just don't know how they would react.
