It wasn't one light bulb moment for me really. I used to take Armani home with me on weekends or holidays to visit my parents- they have two toy poodles- he would have such a blast playing with their dogs. Then when we went home he would act depressed for a few days because he had no one to play with. He did not have any separation anxiety or anything but I always felt really bad when I left for the day and had to leave him all alone. So I started considering dog number two. I felt that it would be nice for him to have company when I was gone and also for him to have someone to run around and play with all the time. So I always had "dog number two" in mind at that point but hadn't seriously started looking. I was out one day and saw the girl who bred him and she said that another litter was on the way and I just couldn't resist one of his "real siblings" so I told her if there was a boy in the litter, that wasn't the runt, I wanted him. There were two boys in the litter so she called to tell me I could have first pick. So I went and picked out the runt that was a girl- LOL!
