1) yes, we do hate breeding tinies, but like you, I don't think she is that tiny...on the smaller end of the standard scale, yes, but so long as your male is smaller as you say he is, 4lbs 7oz is a far cry from the 3lb mommas that have been popping up lately...2) yes, 9 pounds would be safe, IMO
Also, IMO, it depends HIGHLY on how you make efforts to care for the dogs, regardless of size, before, during and after pregnancy that can make a HUGE difference in the outcome. Please keep us posted on your sweeties and their progress.
