If you contact USPS they can put an investigation on the missing packages to find out what happened. With delivery confirmation, the postal carrier will be able to tell exactly where the packages were left, if indeed they were delivered. I had USPS investigate a package that I shipped to a customer and found out that it was sitting in my local post office for no apparent reason. They are pretty good about finding out what happened.

I also recommend contacting the seller and although there is a delivery confirmation, explain to them that the item was not received. If you put it on them, they will have to start an investigation with USPS. I believe in top notch customer service, so the one time someone claimed an item not received (w/confirmation), I went ahead and shipped it again.
