Oh my gooodness! That is so neat. I agree, i think tags are just as important if not more than a microchip. Not everyone has a scanner to read micropchips. But everyone can read a tag. But if your dog loses its collar or someone takes it off than, a microchip is important. We had a dog come to our vet clinic , and the lady said she had him for 2 years, and never had him scanned, and so we scanned him, and he had a chip!!!!! She had found him roaming in the woods, I love stories like this!!!!!
