I have a Russian tortoise. Belle didn't even know he existed for the first month she was here. Then one afternoon she noticed him walking around his enclosure.... she growled and barked a few times and hasn't paid any attention to him since that day. Maybe you'll have better luck with your turtle and future Yorkie making friends
