One month ago today, our little Lucy who was only 5 years old went to jump up on the couch - something she did 5 times a day - slipped off and ruptured a disc in her back, paralyzing her from the waist down. She was on morphine and steroids for 2 days until the doctors told us she was in deep pain and was getting progressively worse. We had to put our sweet angel down.

Rest in Peace Lucy. You were a precious gift from God that we could not keep and we can't wait to see you again.
