Soooooo..... I went to the local pet shop this morning. She had the new LID formulas in. She of course convinced me to buy a bag and try it, and If all else fails I can always bring it back. Of course, I broke down and did. I am nervous to incorporate a new diet right now, only because Taycie is so extremely sensitive,but I figure we can just try a little here and there at a time.
Protein wise, it looks so good! It is nice to see a higher protein value compared to most LID formulas. Fat wise, I always get nervous. 18% doesn't seem to high.. I just always worry regardless.
When I brought it home I gave her a few pieces of the kibble. She got super excited about it!!! So that is a good thing.. I was bummed the kibble was smaller. I do know many do better with smaller kibble but my girl likes to crunch! It also keeps her from eating so fast as well.. She actually has to slow down and chew her food.
Guess we will see... Crossing my fingers for no major blow outs...
