Thanks for all the input! He has already started putting some weight on it while outside doing his 'business'...talked w the vet yesterday and she was not at all excited that he was doing that...I have had him n my kitchen behind baby gate bc the instructions said a small area or crate but it seems that everyone else has kept them crated for at least 4 weeks? i have also been letting him hop around n the house bc he does not put wait on it while inside...but also seems i am giving him too much liberty there also. i will be putting him in the crate starting tomorrow morning when i leave for work...It will kill my soul as well as his but like someone previously said i know it's for the best...Thanks again for the help...I am sure he will not thank u but I certainly do bc I do want the best for him and this is our shot at keeping use of that leg! Any other suggestions are certainly welcome!! |
