Our little 2# chi was chipped during a regular office visit. He didn't even flinch when the needle went in (I thought I would pass out though... cuz the needle was so big). I didn't realize that most people have it done while they are being spayed/neutered. Stanley was a rescue, and came to us neutered but not chipped, so I just asked the vet to do it at our first visit. It never occured to me that it might be more than the "quick stick" that it turned out to be. |
