I'll explain a bit further and somewhat clinical way. Boys are born with their testes inside....however, as the begin to grow they will travel down to where they were meant to be. However, they must become seated....there is ring that eventually holds them in place. But, until that time they can pull them up at will...usually when they've been startled or in an unsure situation. Now allowing them to hump does assit in bringin those little testes down.
Now when to nueter, I recommend not until his growth plates close, your vet will tell you when that happens. You can have whatever retained puppy teeth he may have removed at the same time. This way he only has to be putunder anesthesia once. |
