I would say NO. Has she taken the pup for initial examination by her vet? I got ZoE ast 6 weeks due to issues with the mom, and my vet said nutri-cal/karo is an emergency tool. His strongest recommendation was feeding mini babydog every 3-4 hours to keep her blood sugar stable. That meant setting the alarm for middle of the night feedings.
Her vet would be her best source of information for her pup.
